Akofa is a Senior Manager and Country Head of the Treasury Department at Bank of Africa (Ghana) Ltd, a position she has held for five years now. Prior to Bank Africa, she was Chief Dealer in the Treasury Department of Guaranty Trust Bank (Ghana) Ltd.

She has 12 years’ experience in the banking and finance industry with expertise in financial markets trading and risk management. Akofa is a professional banker and member of Chartered Institute of Banker’s Ghana and also a certified financial markets trader, with a certification in financial markets trading and risk management from the ACI (Association Cambiste Internationale), France.

She also holds an MBA in Finance and Risk Management from the Business School Netherlands (BSN), and a BSc. Degree in Biochemistry from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana.

Akofa is a member of the Executive Women’s Network (EWN) in Ghana; a group of women CEOs and women in executive positions in private sector organisations. She is passionate about mentoring the youth to live up to their full potentials and women empowerment.

Akofa is married with two lovely girls and a proud native of Hohoe, in the Volta Region of Ghana.
