Citizens of the Gbi (Hohoe) and Peki traditional areas in the Volta Region will from Friday, 7th December to Tuesday, 10th December, 2018 mark the 23rd anniversary of their reunification after more than 300 years of being separated by migration and colonial factors. The reunification festival (i.e. Gbidukorza) which is hosted on rotational basis provides opportunity for the communities to assess their developmental performance and plan for the next year. The 2018 edition which has the theme, “Consolidating two decades of Gbidukor unity for accelerated development,” will be celebrated in Hohoe.
